Two years ago to the day, myself, Jeremy McDaniel from our Greensboro store, and two friends awoke atop the highest point in the lower 48 states—Mount Whitney, CA.

We had just finished an 18-day southbound hike of the John Muir Trail along the crest of the Sierra Nevada mountains, arguably one of the most picturesque hikes in the world.
