This first of four classes for the Fall will focus on dayhiking; what to wear, carry and how to use it all. We'll cover footwear, clothing, daypacks, trekking poles and more. We'll also hit on some good local areas to try.

This final class in the Fall series will get us out of the shop and doing some actual field practice. We'll have some fun with GPS, compass games, USGS map lesson, site selection and setup, trekking pole demo, water treatment demo, bear bagging competition and more.
