Trail Talk Series and Special Guests
Join us for our series of talks about gear, events, places, and people. The majority of topics will cover specifics on types of gear, like tents, backpacks, sleeping bags, footwear, hydration, or technical clothing. Joining us for some talks will be local authors, like Johnny Malloy, author of several outdoor books including "Best in Tent Camping: Southern Appalachians", and Holly Sherwin, author of "Canoeing In Tennessee", one of the best resources for paddling in this area. Come meet Mark Carroll, famed outdoor photographer (check out the cover of the Chaco catalog) for some great photos and stories behind his treks around the globe. Whatever the topic for the evening, you're sure to gain some knowledge, hear some great stories, and leave inspired to hit the trail.
